The heart of the house
A fireplace, a tiled stove and a big table
The ground floor is one large open living space: living room, dining area and kitchen – for evenings by the fire, board games and long dinners together.
The living room still has the original tiled stove, which we kept when renovating grandma’s house. Timber beams, old furniture and a dresser full of games, puzzles and books create an atmosphere our guests most often describe in one word: homely.
The kitchen is fully equipped – guests say in their reviews that it had “everything we needed”. [to be confirmed: equipment list – dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, washing machine?]

Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and two upstairs – 10 beds in total. A baby cot is available on request.

We made the beds from the old floorboards of this very house – real, solid wood given a second life. Add very comfortable mattresses and soft cotton towels.

Three bathrooms – no morning queues
- Upstairs, each of the two bedrooms has its own shower room.
- Downstairs there is a shared bathroom with a large, comfortable bathtub.
- Soft cotton towels are provided.

- Hot water heated by solar collectors.
- Filtered tap water – safe to drink straight from the tap.

Good to know
House rules in brief
- Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00 – other times by prior arrangement.
- No smoking indoors, and please take your shoes off inside.
- Dogs welcome – please keep them off the beds and sofas.
- We only rent out the whole house, not individual rooms.
